Overall I have to say that I'm pretty happy with my purchase. I never felt insecure while running on snow and ice and I was never slipping around. So thumbs up for the Kahtoola Microspikes.

Kahtoola Microspikes
Yesterday i was also trying out my new Kahtoola Microspikes. When i was ordering them 2 weeks ago, i had the problem, that my shoe size was exactly between the two available size options of the Microspikes. I chose the larger size and even after my run yesterday I still don't know, if this was a good idea. On my left shoe, it fit well, but on my right shoe, the spikes often twisted which led to bad grip. Maybe i have to be more careful, when attiring them to the shoes.

Strasskopf
As my first post, just some pictures of my tour from today to the "Strasskopf", a mountain in the beautiful Alps.

I was trying to push hard and reached the top of the Strasskopf after 1h 24 minutes.
